Matthew McConaughey Joins Miracle Mike

He'll play a strip club owner.... Steven Soderbergh and Channing Tatum are busily searching for cast people for his or her indie male stripper drama Miracle Mike. And today Matthew McConaughey is registering for any role. As you will probably know right now, the film is applying Tatum's encounters like a teenage stripper in Florida. He pitched the concept to Soderbergh while focusing on the experience thriller Haywire and also the director has added it towards the growing listing of films he intends to make before retiring. Tatum's creating partner Reid Carolin manages obtaining the script written. Tatum will have the title character, a stripper/dancer who mentors Alex Pettyfer when it comes to at the receiving end shake and just how to handle if not carrying out. McConaughey's on as Dallas, an old dancer themself, who now is the owner of a golf club known as Xquisite, that is where Mike works. The actor is really a busy guy recently: he's busy focusing on Lee Daniels' steamy thriller The Paperboy as well as move forward in Shaun Nichols' drama Dirt. Plus he's Richard Linklater's Bernie and William Friedkin's Killer Joe sitting waiting to become launched. There is no word on when Miracle Mike will start shooting.
